Andrew Pinckney Inn is a gorgeous boutique downtown Charleston hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay no matter if you are planning a romantic getaway weekend or a family vacation. There are number of great amenities at the property including wireless internet, valet services, and much more. The boutique hotel has its own unique character when it comes to amenities. There are also many different room types to choose from when deciding where to stay. Andrew Pinckney Inn is also located closely to many Charleston attractions making it easy find guests to see all of the best attractions. Charleston is known for having some great events each month with festivals, concerts, and outdoor adventures. There are many October events at Sewee Visitor & Environmental Education Center. Here is what we found:
Saturday, October 6th: 12-5p.m.
Come to Camp Sewee this weekend and enjoy the family-fun fest. This is the time of the year where they have their annual Awendaw Blue Crab Festival. Come enjoy some delicious seafood and get a great learning experience. See live animals and watch children participate in nature activities.
Saturday, October 13th: 10-2p.m.
Everyone knows who Smokey Bear is, so come out and celebrate fire prevention week with him and your family or friends. See Smokey Bear and some of the local firefighters as they teach you safety lessons. Guests will get to hike the Wetland Wonder Trail and celebrate all of the great national wildlife.
Sunday, October 14th: 12-5p.m.
Help make the earth more Green and come to the Charleston Green Fair at Marion Square Park. Learn about using the three R’s in your everyday life, “Refuse, Reduce, and Recycle.” It is a great learning experience that everyone can use in making the earth a better place.
Saturday, October 27th: 9-5p.m
If your family loves fishing then you won’t want to miss this event. Come fish for free all day at the Sewee Pond. After you have caught a “limit” of fish come inside and check out all of the great finds in exhibit hall. Also, see the latest on what has been on the hiking trails.
