On this day there will be an Official City of Charleston Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. This will take place at 4:30p.m in the park. - Sunday, December 2nd – Check out the 32nd Annual Charleston Christmas Parade which will be held from 2p.m. to 4p.m. There will be holiday characters, special treats, and much more. You can find the parade at Meeting Street down to King Street and to Broad Street.
- December 9th – If you celebrate Chankuah in your family there will be an event from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Watch as they light the candles on the Kwanzaa Kinari on December 26th too.
- December 31st – Bring in the new year in Charleston. The event is held in Marion Square and begins at 4:00p.m. Enjoy the free admission, food, drinks, and celebration of the arts.
