“Outstanding!” Reviewed October 27, 2013
We had a wonderful stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. We were fortunate enough to be assigned to the townhouse suite with its own private balcony, which was delightful. The location is very convenient to the market, downtown sightseeing, and shopping on King Street, as well as abundant dining options. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the continental breakfast (included) on the outdoor terrace was great. I hope to stay there again- hopefully for more than one night!
“Andrew Pinckney Inn – Southern Style” Reviewed October 25, 2013
We stayed in the Townhouse Suite which is close to many historical homes, churches and graveyards in Charleston, SC. The staff were cordial and served our needs immediately. The suite was luxurious, yet comfortable sporting two televisions! The Inn itself is in walking distance to fabulous restaurants, everything from down home southern ribs and sausage stews to elegant seafood. We so enjoyed sleeping, walking and eating.
“The perfect quaint southern hospitality you hope for” Reviewed October 21, 2013
What a gem of a boutique hotel this is! After staying 2 nights on a girls trip, we all vowed to return to the Andrew Pinckney Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything from valet parking and dinner reservations to the top notch breakfast served on the upper patio. Location of the hotel is outstanding for walking to restaurants, shops, carriage rides, and many of Charleston’s charming sites. The darling lady serving breakfast was a favorite of ours! Food was wonderful and her extra attention to detail and tips for experiencing Charleston added such value to our stay. Because the inn is an old historic house, noise can be heard from the hallways, however, this was not a bother to us. The upper patio is a great place to relax and enjoy not only breakfast, but also an afternoon or evening drink- just plan to pick something up while you’re out because it is not a full service bar. We were very pleased and would certainly recommend the inn to others.
“Just gotta love the south… and our friends at the Andrew Pinckney Inn” Reviewed October 14, 2013
This is a first for me to write a reveiw, however, I really felt compelled to share my experience that my friend and I had at the Andrew Pinckney Inn in Charleston, SC….Where do I begin, to say it was great, wonderful and fun would be under exaggerating….Not only was the hotel ideally located, immaculate and seemed more like a “Bed and Breakfast” (they did serve breakfast and it was nothing short of gourmet and included in your room rate)….all this is due not only to the lovely structure and location of the hotel but due to the staff and ONE member in particular, Mr. Sandy Pelham, who could not have been nicer, more helpful and just down right humorous…My friend and I came back to Charleston a day earlier since we enjoyed our experience and the southern hospitability that Sandy in particular showed…Therefore, don’t think twice as to where to stay and be sure to say “hi ya”all” from the two northern gals to Sandy….Again, Sandy, thanks for making this such a memorable trip
