2012 Race for the Cure

If you will be in Charleston on October 20th, you will want to participate in the great event 2012 Race for the Cure.  This is a great way to show your support and wear your pink for all the women who are fighting and who have survived breast cancer.  The 2012 Race for the Cure is the perfect way to raise awareness and have people become more educated on the disease. Most people will make the event a weekend trip to Charleston, and there is no better place to stay during your visit than Andrew Pinckney Inn.  The historic inn offers the greatest accommodations and best amenities.

As most know breast cancer has become a very serious disease that has affected nearly 1.3 million annually.  It affects women and men of all ages and races, and it is extremely important that everyone gets checked regularly for this type of cancer.

All of the money and proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  They are always consistently researching and trying to find a cure.  As of now getting people aware is the best that anyone can do.  With early detection there are several treatment methods that are available and give people a better chance than ever before to survive.  The Susan G. Komen for the Cure also offers all of the latest information on the disease.  If you want to take charge of your health, or support a family member this is a wonderful place to go that will give you all of the educational resources that you need.
